The Engineering Behind the Hub
XyloGames was engineered to solve the "multi-app fatigue" of mobile gaming. I designed a unified container architecture that allows over 150+ instant HTML5 games to be accessible within a single, lightweight application footprint.
The technical challenge was ensuring a seamless UX across a diverse range of game types—from action-packed titles like Drift Boss to logic-heavy puzzles like 2048. To achieve this, I implemented custom Skeleton Loaders and an automatic retry system, ensuring that even on slower network conditions, the "Tap and Play" promise is maintained.
The app features a sophisticated Search Engine with keyword matching and recent history, alongside a dynamic homepage that surfaces trending games. I also built-in native support for Dark and Light modes, ensuring the UI adapts to the user's system preferences for maximum comfort.
